I’ve spent much of today trying to fully wrap my head around Kenny Williams’ reasoning for trading for Ken Griffey Jr. this morning. While I’m not convinced it was a smart move, at least I’ll sleep better knowing Ozzie Guillen now has no choice but to put Paul Konerko on the bench for the majority of the remaining games. Konerko’s feelings shouldn’t be as hurt about being benched in favor of a first-ballot hall-of-famer as he would have been if he was benched for a Brian Anderson-Dewayne Wise
